In fact, I’ve learned that the best leaders are often the best listeners, not the loudest voices.
The real work of leadership is about helping others succeed and removing obstacles from their path.
When I focus on supporting my team rather than directing every move, I see people:
Step up
Take ownership
Grow in ways that surprise even themselves
Servant leadership isn’t just a buzzword, it’s a daily practice.
It means checking my ego at the door and asking:
“What does my team need from me today?”
Sometimes that’s guidance, sometimes it’s resources, and sometimes it’s just listening.
I’ve found that when I invest in the growth and well-being of others, the results are always better than anything I could have achieved alone.
When others win, we all win.
That’s the culture I strive to build:
One where leadership is measured not by control, but by the success of those around you.
It’s not always easy, but it’s worth it.
